The Volunteer Flame
Parks Canada celebrated their 75 th Anniversary in 2006 by handing out
The Volunteer Flame to fifty five of it's volunteer cooperating associations
or "friends" Across Canada . From PEI to British Columbia These
associations were recognized for the important work they do in preserving
the ecological and Cultural integrity as well as providing public
education and a unique visitor experience every time Canadians visited
one of our parks.
